The Tower
Raised a floor higher, built to watch the wild go by.
Raised a floor higher, built to watch the wild go by.
Rust-orange and unmistakable, the Tower rises a full floor above the ground — the elevation was never an accident.
Every other cabin at Vaaranam sits low. This one was built to climb — a proper staircase up to a real first floor, so the view opens up before you've even reached the door.
The idea began with elephants — a platform high enough to watch herds move through the farm below. Guests still catch sightings some seasons, elephants and other wildlife passing quietly beneath the trees.
From up here the hills roll out in every direction, layer after layer of green fading into the distance.
Face the balcony toward the ridge at the right hour and watch the moon climb over the hills — one of the quiet reasons guests keep asking for this room by name.
Two cane-backed chairs, a low round table, and the mountains framed like a painting that changes by the hour.
Carved doors, warm panelled walls, sconces lit low — the Tower keeps its material honest floor to ceiling, save for one room.
Contemporary tile and a wide window looking straight into the canopy — function first, but never far from the view.
A short film on the build — from foundation to finish, told by the people who put it together.
Built to climb toward the wild,
and stay for the moonrise.
